Enjoy whitewater rafting in New York State on the Black River with B.O.B. Rafting. Starting in downtown Watertown, NY, you'll travel down 7 miles of the best summer time whitewater rafting in New York State. Working as a team, you'll experience the thrill and challenges of the Class 3 and Class 4 rapids with names like "3 Rocks", "Zig Zag", "The Cruncher", "Knife's Edge", and the "Rocket Ride". Much of the journey will take you through the natural beauty of the Black River Gorge, with its high, sheer limestone walls and rock formations. The trip will end in Dexter, New York and leave you with fantastic memories of your wild ride.

A great warm-water Mecca, the Black offers unusually solid whitewater all summer long.  Touring kayaks also provide a delightful sunset excursion into Lake Ontario!  You'll enjoy the convenience of our spacious rafting center located on the shores of the Black River at the Black River Bay Campground in Dexter, NY.  It's an easy stroll from your campsite to our rafting check-in center, and the free shuttles that take you to and from the river.

Dates Available:  All weekends, May 1 - October 11, plus:  Fridays in June, W-Th-Fr in July, M-W-Th-Fr in August, and Fridays in September and early October.  A group of 16 or more may reserve any date in May, June or September.
