Thompson Park, home of the New York State Living Museum in the city of Watertown, NY, also offers several ski and snowshoe trails. The trails range from beginner to advanced, with six loops encompassing approximately six miles of groomed trails. Visitors are encouraged to use of all the trails, but are requested to avoid walking on the groomed ski tracks. During the summer season the trails are ideal for hiking and mountain biking. Additional maps of the trails and snowshoe rentals are available at the Little Trees Visitor Center in the New York State Living Museum. Trails are open during Thompson Park’s regular operating hours, from sunrise to sunset.
